TORONTO, ON, May 30, 2018 – Orion Assessment Services has officially become the first assessment service provider in Canada to certify a translation firm to the recently published ISO 18587 standard. This milestone means Montreal’s BG Communications International is the first and only language translation firm in Canada certified for human post-editing of machine translation output to the ISO standard.
“As the world chair of the ISO TC37/SC5, I was fully aware of the need for a worldwide standard for machine translation post-editing.
