ISO 17100 is an internationally-recognized standard for Translation Service Providers (TSPs). With the intent to define the actions necessary for the delivery of a quality translation service, the standard includes minimum service delivery and competency requirements for all personnel involved.

This will serve as your agreement with Orion. The terms and conditions must be signed and returned to Orion along with any required deposit.

Determine a mutually agreeable time with your assigned auditor.

Audit Conducted

The audit is conducted to ensure the system is implemented according to the requirements of the standard. The key deliverables from this stage include the onsite review report detailing positive aspects, weaknesses and areas for improvement and the recommendation regarding your certification. If there are any issues, they must be closed within the required timeline.

The results from the audit are assessed by a senior auditor to 

ensure a proper recommendation has been made. At this point, approval is given to issue a certificate.

Every two years, Orion must conduct an onsite review to verify the management system continues to be maintained within the organization.
